In coastal areas, disasters caused by extreme weather risk occur frequently, posing a serious threat to these regions. In order to improve the frequency of tide data observation during disasters such as storm surges, an intelligent tide observation system was designed based on unmanned tide gauge stations. The existing data collection system and observation mode have been upgraded and redesigned. The observation system can automatically increase the observation frequency during weather disasters based on the set threshold, without the need for remote commands. The system can also automatically conduct data quality control based on set thresholds, providing more useful real-time observation data for ocean warning and disaster reduction efforts.
