Under the increasing scrutiny of ethical regulations concerning the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Arab media institutions, researchers have shown growing interest in conducting studies related to this phenomenon through monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting it from various perspectives. This study adopts a qualitative and critical review approach to understand, monitor, and analyze recent research trends in scientific studies regarding this matter. The study sample comprised (46) published scientific studies, in both Arabic and English, spanning from 2021 to 2024, addressing the ethical challenges of AI utilization in Arab media institutions. The study discusses the ethical challenges associated with AI utilization in Arab media institutions, as highlighted by these studies, including aspects that have been overlooked or insufficiently discussed and interpreted scientifically. Additionally, the study examines the procedural and methodological approaches followed in these studies. Furthermore, the study provides a future vision and research agenda to enhance Arab studies in the field of the study topic.
