The decentralized nature of the Internet of Things (IoT) makes it a system that is a large amount more susceptible to safety breaches. It is a system that links real-world items that are accessible over the Internet. These real-world items are highly capable of gathering and sending data across the Internet. Clocks must be synchronized in order to collect data from various sources, and network security must be guaranteed. This paper proposes a modified time lay technique to harmonize the clocks of Internet of Things strategy. The RSA technique is utilized, enhancing Internet of Things security. When the adapted time-lay method is simulated in NS2, it is found that energy consumption is effectively managed by the modified time-lay.
