Enterprise development is a multi-faceted process that requires continuous adaptation in order to achieve greater efficiency, competitiveness and sustainable growth. Currently, the trends related to green transformation are intensifying, which is also reflected in the functioning of supply chains. Focusing on sustainability and environmental aspects potentially affect a wide range of areas, processes or the philosophy of the organization’s operation and can stimulate their development. The aim of the chapter was to analyze the impact of the functioning of the organization in the green supply chain on the development of companies participating in it. Based on the conducted research, it was shown that involvement in green supply chains can in particular affect the technological dimension regarding digital transformation, automation—the use of technology to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
