摘要
The “Ejada” HR management and performance management system was first introduced in Oman under the Oman Vision 2040. It seeks to improve government efficiency through performance evaluation that is based on the use of Key Performance Indicators. The government system in Oman aims to improve the society and its members by developing their quality of life. In the note, the authors focus on the influence of this system on employees’ satisfaction with its fairness, clarity, feedback, and the match between effort and outcome. The research authors highlight the contribution of OD theories such as Organizational Justice, Expectancy, and Self-Determination, among others, on factors such as criteria and evaluative judgment, which contribute to unhappiness. Limitations and recommendations focus on systemic aspects such as increasing communication and trust through improving the overall cut level within evaluation processes, enhancing the degree of fairness, and the overall degree of motivation and organizational commitment. Overall, the conclusions allow a better understanding of how the “Oman Vision 2040” can be implemented to enhance the different possibilities for people residing in Oman if the country strives to achieve its strategic principles.
