摘要
This study aimed to present the role of transformational leadership in supporting organizational change in institutions in the Sultanate of Oman within the framework of the transformation towards renewable energy, while highlighting organizational innovation and human capital development as complementary factors to enhance the ability of institutions to adapt to sustainability requirements. The study relied on the descriptive-deductive approach, in which a comprehensive analysis of organizational challenges and environmental transformations in the energy sector in the Sultanate of Oman was provided in the descriptive phase, based on multiple sources including academic literature and reports from several organizations. In the deductive phase, the basic dimensions of supporting organizational change were analyzed based on the theories of transformational leadership and human capital. The study showed through reviewing the literature that transformational leadership plays a fundamental role in enhancing the effectiveness of organizational changes and their response to institutions, as well as through encouraging innovation and developing human resource capabilities. The results also showed that the organizational climate of institutions that support innovation and develop the skills of individuals for the purpose of adapting to the energy transition and trends can contribute to achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040 related to economic and environmental sustainability.
