Enhancing Corporate Social Responsibility Through Agile Project Management; Strategies for Sustainable Value Delivery
摘要
Traditional project management methodologies are becoming obsolete, while more dynamic approaches, such as Agile Project Management (APM), are gaining popularity due to their ability to deliver value-driven outcomes. From software industries, where agile approaches originated, their significance has expanded to various other project domains. However, research on the capabilities of APM in service delivery within social projects remains underexplored. The primary objective of the study is to understand and explore the role of APM in delivering value-based output in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects. Data were generated from a literature review and qualitative interviews. The analysis identified that effective stakeholder engagement is critical for achieving sustainable development in CSR projects. This involves cultivating a sustainable mindset and ensuring active participation from stakeholders. The iterative planning, continuous feedback, collaboration and leadership inherent in agile methodologies can enhance quality output to the beneficiaries of CSR projects. The findings suggest that CSR leaders should adopt agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and Crystal in CSR projects to deliver services effectively. Furthermore, the study contributes to the developing literature on APM and CSR.
