Outdoor Air Quality Assessment of Catalyst Factory in Jiangbei, China
摘要
An assessment of outdoor air quality associated with a solid catalyst factory in Jiangbei industrial park was conducted. We explored the concentrations of suspended particulate matters and gas emissions based on data collected from monitoring points in the period of spring 2024. Morphological parameters under normal conditions were recorded for 1−4# points, whereas average air velocity and emission source intensity were ca. 3.7 m s−1 and 0.05 kg h−1. The general variation pattern of ambient air and six atmospheric pollutants within 7:00–23:00 (16 h) during hour-to-hour gradient were further investigated. Daily averages of most components (PM10, NOx, SO2 and CO) were presentable at allowable concentrations. Two typical contaminants (PM2.5 and O3) were out of gauge, especially at 4# point. Indices of PM2.5 and PM10 showed a bimodal distribution. The peak and valley value of NOx were at 10:30–11:30 and 15:30–16:30, respectively. O3 concentration was considered to reach a maximum at 9 h. Moreover, the characteristics of CO and PM10 were similar, whose peak values were at 2.5 and 12 h. A unimodal relationship of SO2 was revealed from 11:30 to 12:30.
