In order to reduce the impact of hydropower projects on fish and their habitats, fish habitat protection and restoration are being studied at home and abroad, but the research has not yet formed a mature system, and most of them are based on river basin planning and individual projects. Habitat protection and restoration are the main modes of integrated conservation design, and there are few integrated conservation designs. Taking a hydropower station in Lancang river basion as an example, and based on the fish protection measure system and current assessment conclusions put forward by the environmental assessment, and this paper puts forward the system of fish habitat protection while focusing on the spawning grounds design and fishery management to achieve the protection purpose. This has a great practical significance for maintaining the important habitat of flowing fishes and constructing spawning grounds for fish with demersal or sticky eggs. It can provide a valuable reference for habitat protection, especially the construction of spawning grounds.
