The research delves into the pressing issue of parking shortage in urban areas and explores solutions by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) in smart car parking stations. The authors begin by analyzing the results of a survey of mobile application users to understand their parking habits and preferences. A survey was conducted to study the opinions of mobile application users for parking. The survey asked drivers about the time they spend searching for a parking space, how often they use parking spaces in city centers, and whether they would like to use a mobile app. Subsequently, the authors discuss the theoretical design, advantages, and disadvantages of a parking system based on a mobile application. The integration of AI (e.g., predictive analytics, computer vision, and machine learning) is highlighted for its potential to optimize parking management and enhance urban mobility. The research underscores the transformative impact of AI-driven solutions on addressing congestion, pollution, and inefficiencies in parking operations.
