The Role of Globalization and Intercultural Communication in the Digitalization of the Economy and Transportation

The research aims to define the role of globalization and intercultural communication in the digitalization of the economy and transportation. Utilizing correlation and regression analysis, the authors conduct economic-mathematical modeling to determine the influence of identified socio-cultural factors on the digitalization of the economy and transportation, drawing upon advanced international experience from 27 countries. The official statistical data from IMD for 2023 serves as the information-empirical basis. As a result, the authors formulated economic-mathematical regularities of digital development of the economy and transportation under the influence of socio-cultural factors. Additionally, the authors developed a new model of the digital transport economy and provided recommendations for its implementation in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Moreover, the authors determined the perspective of digitalization of the economy and transportation through optimizing the influence of socio-cultural factors on them in the long term of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the new model of the digital transport economy. The main conclusion is that globalization and intercultural communication play a significant role in the digitalization of the economy and transportation. The theoretical significance of the obtained results lies in refining the composition of key socio-cultural factors and quantitatively measuring their influence on the digitalization of the economy and transportation. The practical significance of the developed model of the digital transport economy is expressed in its ability to improve the contemporary practice of state regulation of international trade development. The managerial significance of the author’s recommendations lies in their potential to strengthen the foreign trade cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Eurasian Economic Union.
