Greening City Streets and Roads in Modern Urban Conditions
摘要
The research addresses the issues related to the formation of Tashkent’s greening system and air quality in the city, as reported by the IQ Air platform. It offers conclusions and recommendations for improvement and development. The most important characteristic of the urban environment is the microclimate, the condition of which is mainly determined by anthropogenic factors in the environment and, primarily, its pollution. The concept of the master plan of the city of Tashkent determined that the air temperature in the existing green zones is 5° lower than in sparse areas and streets. The authors compared the air temperature inside and outside the car. Elements of microclimatic efficiency and external improvement of green spaces in the conditions of overheating of the suburbs are systematized by the authors. The shortage of parking spaces in Tashkent has led to various problems, with cars frequently parked along the edges of city streets and roads. To mitigate these issues and help moderate the city’s climate, the construction of ecological parking lots is recommended. These environmentally friendly parking solutions are widely used around the world. Their primary purpose is to protect the ecological environment while ensuring smooth traffic flow. In these parking lots, special lawn fences are installed to preserve the grass cover, preventing its damage and degradation.
