摘要
This chapter focuses on the development of the dental primordia in the maxilla, which are in their cap stages, and on their positional relationships to the surrounding maxillary bone. The formation of the bony compartments, which will eventually constitute the bony alveoli for each individual dental primordium, takes place at this stage of development primarily through apposition of bone (Figs. 21.1, 21.2, 21.3, 21.4, 21.5, 21.6, 21.7, 21.8, 21.9, 21.10, and 21.11).
