This chapter provides an overview of positive psychology as a transformative paradigm for student wellness. It begins by defining positive psychology and tracing its historical development, followed by an exploration of its core elements. The PERMA model (Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishments) is introduced as a framework for fostering well-being.
