This chapter provides an exploration of the evolving practices in urban life in an era of AI (artificial intelligence). As such, a review of the research literature is provided enabling the identification of key elements associated with practice in urban life as well as key challenges and opportunities. Formulation of a conceptual framework to guide explorations of practice in an era of AI is then provided. Employing an exploratory methodological approach, focus is placed on the categories of alternative viewpoints, people, and technologies in relation to the challenges and opportunities of sensibilities, sensing, and sensors. The chapter concludes with the identification of insights, limitations, and future directions.
