Numerous researchers have developed a variety of mechanisms to ensure data security; see here this study sheds light on papers that are specifically constructed with substitution ciphers and analyses them in terms of several metrics, including encryption and decryption times as well as CPU and memory usage. For secure communication via unsecured channels, like the internet, ciphers are necessary. Because internet communication is not secure and can be intercepted by hostile individuals, cyphers are required. Ciphers offers a number of advantages, including as confidentiality, speed, efficiency, and adaptability.
