Water pollution is a significant and increasing environmental problem and a critical challenge for humankind, and the scientific community has scrutinised it in recent decades. Releasing hazardous pollutants into industrial, agricultural, and residential wastewater has contributed significantly to this problem. As a result, available freshwater sources have become persistently contaminated. One of the most persistent issues is the presence of contaminants of emerging concern (CEC), which are highly chemically stable and resistant to conventional water treatment methods. Therefore, developing new materials and technologies is imperativet to address such persistent contaminants efficiently. In this context, Poly(Vinilydene Fluoride) offers a versatile and robust platform for creating a myriad of different membrane to tackle several water contamination issues.
