Twenty-Nail Transverse Leuko- and Melanonychia Striata in Elderly Man
摘要
An octogenarian man, a locksmith by occupation, presented to the dermatology outpatients due to 1 month history of twenty–nail changes. The surface of the nails was uneven, characterized by regular transverse ridges and alternating brown and white transverse bands. The remembered that the nail changes were preceded by the severe itch by 2 months. Dermatoscopic assessment revealed confirmed transverse melanonychia and leukonychia striata that did not change under pressure.
