Bilateral Median Transverse Ridging of the Thumb Nails in a Young Man
摘要
A 50-year-old physical worker presented at the dermatology outpatient clinic with bilateral irregular transverse ridging of his thumbnails. There was no subungual hyperkeratosis and both the proximal nail fold and distal free edge of the nail plate were unaffected. Dermatoscopic examination revealed irregular transverse indentations in the dorsal aspect of the nail plate, forming a median canal.
