Motivated by the growing demand for secure and robust solutions in modern smart home ecosystems, this paper proposes a smart and secure AC control system. Through a dashboard the system displays real-time temperature and humidity data and allows remote control of the AC, featuring two distinct access privileges: Manual and Automatic. Communication via the MQTT protocol is encrypted with SSL/TLS, and thus AC control is possible only by authorized devices, while RBAC allows only authorized users to access the Blynk dashboard. After stringent testing, the system confirmed reliable performance, proposing it as a secure framework for broader smart home automation.
