This chapter is devoted to understanding and modeling the concept of importance as the fundamental semantic aspect of Graded Logic. Introduced is the contributor-aggregator form of logic aggregators and sum-normalization, count-normalization, and max-normalization of importance weights. This chapter also introduces the concept of overall importance and its decomposition.
