This introductory chapter exemplifies the human commonsense logical reasoning and shows its role in the process of decision making. We study observable and explainable properties of commonsense reasoning and the need for Graded Logic. Limitations of classical propositional logic are compared with the limitations of Graded Logic.

摘要
