This chapter deals with the cryosurgical techniques. Using basic cryosurgical instruments, the reader will learn how to use spraying tips, probes, chambers, tweezers, and cones. There are six basic techniques—open, semi-open, close, semi-close, tweezers, and intralesional—and they will be covered throughout the chapter. For each one, the equipment and the common and some nonconventional uses will be presented.
