Lesions of the scalp and calvarium are diverse and wide-ranging. Surgery is the cornerstone of treatment in most cases. However, surgery of these lesions is challenging in most cases due to the scalp and cranial defects that can occur, the complexity of reconstruction, and the wide variety of postoperative complications that can occur. The management of these complications is complex, requires multidisciplinary collaboration, and must be tailored to the particularities of each patient, but the main treatment remains prevention.
