Compositional design is a highly convenient approach for specifying and verifying large-scale systems, particularly distributed systems. Automata are widely employed as the basic formalism in this approach. These systems, which are state machines, allow for modelling individual components, their interactions, and their behaviours, but also provide standard modelling methods such as parallel composition and levels of abstraction. In this paper, we focus on distributed systems composed of reactive components. We will examine a new formalism that builds upon existing formalisms, allowing for the modelling of the components and their interactions. The aim of this formalism is to provide a theoretical tool for reasoning about behavioural equivalence among reactive systems.

摘要
