Dusona and Diadegma are the most species-rich genera with 54 and 49 known species, respectively. The Iranian fauna of Campopleginae is found to be the most species-rich among the Middle Eastern countries, including 225 species and subspecies in 34 genera, followed by Turkey (with 145 species), Israel-Palestine (42 species), Egypt (37 species), Cyprus (16 species), Jordan (12 species), Syria (9 species), Saudi Arabia (6 species), Lebanon (5 species), Iraq (2 species), and Oman and Yemen (1 species).
