Case Study 2: Photography Aspect Ratios
摘要
This chapter delves into analyzing aspect ratios in the MoMA dataset, focusing on photographs from the “Photography” department. By examining the dimensions of photographic works, we explore the prevalence of various aspect ratios. Custom subsets are created to identify and differentiate objects with specific aspect ratios. This chapter also provides guidance on saving visualizations and annotating plots with standard aspect ratios. This case study showcases the utility of data visualization in uncovering patterns and insights within cultural datasets.
