摘要

Human beings continually interpret the world in which they live. When developing the last dimension of the model, the chapter seeks to demonstrate that in this dialogical and developmental process between Self and Others, it is essential to recognize that specific actions are produced as responses to stimuli from the interacting subjects. The information returned to the sender results from the receiver’s reaction to the message, which is used to evaluate the consequences of what is being communicated. This analytical-reflective process comprises feedback layers built into the dialogue between Self-Other-World. Free improvisation is no different. The creative process of free improvisation comprises a set of actions carried out by musicians/improvisers in interaction based on factors that generate the improvised phenomenon at the time of creation. During an improvised performance, musicians/improvisers use a series of actions resulting from feedback layers generated by the practice. They build a sense of the musical practices and themselves from this intertwining. With each creative act, musicians/improvisers project new, imagined, possible perspectives into the future. Therefore, the art and lives of musicians/improvisers are in permanent transformation.
