This chapter synthesises key insights and lessons from this book on indigenous climate justice in the Lake Chad Basin, focusing on historical context, the integration of traditional ecological knowledge (TEK), inclusive partnerships, adaptive management, and innovative solutions. It highlights the ongoing impacts of colonial legacies, the value of TEK in climate resilience, and the importance of inclusive and equitable partnerships among indigenous communities, NGOs, governments, and international bodies. This chapter provides strategic recommendations for strengthening government policies, enhancing the roles of NGOs, increasing international support, and fostering indigenous leadership. It concludes by emphasising the need for inclusive policy development, alignment with sustainable development goals (SDGs), and long-term planning to promote sustainable and resilient development in the Lake Chad Basin.
