This study explores the impact of learning analytics on academic performance and student satisfaction in online higher education environments. A study was conducted with 27 experimental classrooms and 18 control classrooms, where learning analytics tools were implemented in Moodle to enhance interaction and feedback between teachers and students. The results reveal that the use of these tools led to a significant increase in grades and a reduction in the dropout rate in the experimental group compared to the control group. On the other hand, students who used learning analytics reported greater satisfaction with the feedback received. The conclusions suggest that learning analytics are effective in personalizing education and improving the learning experience, promoting a more student-centered approach and optimizing academic outcomes in online teaching.
