With the ever-increasing usage and deployment of mobile devices, mobility support has become a necessity for any future communication networks especially 5G. However, current deployments of 5G architecture suffer from mobility support drawbacks inherited from the existing IP architecture. Named Data Networking (NDN) offers an alternative solution to these problems due to its natively support of name-based networking, in-network caching and mobility. However, while offering support natively for consumer mobility, producer mobility cannot be easily achieved by current NDN architecture. This paper proposes a novel location-based tracing approach utilizing immobile anchor to provide efficient producer support for NDN. The simulation results presented in the paper prove that our approach is very much feasible.

摘要
