The main objective of this systematic review was to identify and analyze in detail the indicators that are sensitive to rehabilitation nursing care for people with neurological alterations and self-care deficits. During the process, meticulous searches were carried out in several widely recognized electronic databases and the studies, among a vast number of them, were selected according to pre- established criteria, seeking to ensure the inclusion of only high quality and reliable research. After careful analysis of the selected studies, the results obtained undeniably indicate the importance of extremely relevant indicators, such as mobility capacity, skin integrity, functional independence and even the self-perception of people with neurological alterations and self-care deficits. These vitally important indicators are crucial in the assessment and intervention of the Rehabilitation Nursing team, helping them significantly in their respective professional processes. This information can provide a solid basis for decision-making, interventions and personalized care planning, helping to improve the quality of life and well-being of this specific and vulnerable population. It is therefore clear that the development and strengthening of these indicators is fundamental to guaranteeing efficient, humanized rehabilitation nursing care geared towards the individual needs of each patient.
