Objective: To identify the contributions of rehabilitation nursing interventions in improving the independence of people with mobility impairment. Introduction: Rehabilitation exercises minimize the functional decline associated with mobility alterations. Rehabilitation nurses play an important role, as they have specific skills that maximize people's functional capacity, autonomy and independence. Inclusion criteria: Studies in Portuguese, English and Spanish; with a target population aged 18 or over; on rehabilitation interventions for people with mobility impairment. Methods: Scoping Review, based on the recommendations of The Joanna Briggs Institute, between August and November 2022, in the B-On, PubMed and EBSCOhost search engines. The PRISMA methodology was followed. Results: Of the 262 studies published between September 2017 and October 2022, 7 were selected that related to the topic. Multicomponent training, progressively more challenging, with short sessions performed more frequently and with repetitive movements, with the exercises being properly adapted to each person, were the main results found. Conclusion: The implementation of rehabilitation nursing interventions for people with mobility impairment contributes to their independence in carrying out Activities of Daily Living.
