This study addresses digital competencies in primary school students in the Comas district in 2024. The objective is to determine digital competencies in digital literacy, communication and collaboration, content creation, digital security, and problem-solving through ICT. A quantitative, exploratory, and descriptive approach with a non-experimental design was utilized to achieve this. The non-probabilistic convenience sample included 394 sixth-grade students. Statistical tests were applied, and IBM SPSS 26 software was used for data analysis. The results reveal that students exhibit low levels in all evaluated dimensions, especially in digital communication and collaboration, where 53% are at a low level. The conclusions highlight the urgent need to strengthen educational policies to better integrate technological tools into the school curriculum. Providing adequate training for both students and teachers to improve digital competencies and prepare students for a successful future in an increasingly digitalized society is essential.
