Scalable Blockchain and Robotics Technology for a Patient-Centric Next Generation Medical System

In recent year, exponential increase of population creates a big challenge regarding healthcare centers to improve their services. Blockchain is a decentralized and secure ledger technology that processes transactions cryptographically in a distributed network. Its transparency and security make it ideal for addressing healthcare challenges like data management, patient confidentiality, and system compatibility. Blockchain uses smart contracts to ensure information security, patient confidentiality, and patient-controlled health data exchange. Its integration with robotics enhances real-time data collection, task automation, and secure, precise health data distribution. In this paper, we discuss current knowledge and emerging trends in blockchain and healthcare, including the integration of blockchain and robotics in healthcare. Further, this explores the role of blockchain in enhancing healthcare interoperability and its potential in personalized patient care. Finally, the paper examines the advantages and significant challenges of adopting these in healthcare and opens the way for future innovations in the sector.
