Numerical Study of Moonie Transducer with Active Element Made of Porous Piezoceramics with Metallized Pore Surfaces
摘要
In this study, we conducted a numerical analysis of Moonie transducersMoonie transducer that incorporate active elements made from conventional porous piezoceramicsPorous piezoceramics or porous piezocomposites with metallized pore surfacesPore surface metallization. Using finite element modelingModeling, we study the electromechanical performance of this transducer, including static, modal, and low frequency harmonic analysis. The influence of porosityPorosity in active piezoelectric materials on transducer response was studied. In addition, the effects of rigid and sliding fixed boundary conditions on transducer performance were explored. The resultsResult show that pore metallization has a considerable impact on the transducer's efficiency, particularly in energy harvestingEnergy harvesting applications. Our simulations provide vital insights into optimizing Moonie transducersMoonie transducer for better performance in real-world applications.
