This paper presents a design and simulation of a double joint front suspension system for a prototype E-Tipo 184 sport car. The original suspension was simulated and evaluated, followed by the creating of new suspension design concept. Considering the circumstances of manufacturing, weight, cost, kinematics parameters the new suspension has been designed, simulated and manufactured.

Development of Duoble Joint Front Suspension for E-Tipo 184 Sport Car

摘要

This paper presents a design and simulation of a double joint front suspension system for a prototype E-Tipo 184 sport car. The original suspension was simulated and evaluated, followed by the creating of new suspension design concept. Considering the circumstances of manufacturing, weight, cost, kinematics parameters the new suspension has been designed, simulated and manufactured.
