In this paper the cooling system of the Tipo EV2 race car’s battery is presented. Different types of batteries are discussed which are available for electric vehicles, then the possible cooling systems are examined. The basis, pros and cons of the lithium battery are presented. The battery and cooling system of the vehicle, the thermal power of the relevant units and the geometrical formations, which drive the air to the appropriate places are discussed. The temperature distribution around the modules presented with the help of some contour plots. The aim of the research is to present the battery cooling system of the developed electric Tipo EV2 race car.

In this paper the cooling system of the Tipo EV2 race car’s battery is presented.
