This research sought to illustrate the link between the internal marketing aspects of the service provider and customer contentment in Islamic banking institutions. The variables involved in this study encompassed selection, training and development, motivation, delegation of authority, internal communication, and customer satisfaction. The choice to employ a descriptive-analytical method was based on its appropriateness for the study’s nature. Two questionnaires were crafted as data collection instruments; one for employees and another for customers. The sample population was drawn from five branches of the International Arab Islamic Bank located in Zarqa city, (44) employee questionnaires were distributed with (33) deemed valid for analysis, while (450) customer questionnaires were sent out with (391) considered valid for analysis. The researchers applied suitable statistical techniques using the SPSS software to draw meaningful insights from the collected data. The findings point to a statistically significant correlation between all internal marketing components and customer satisfaction at the International Arab Islamic Bank in Zarqa. Among the variables, it was interesting to note that training and development garnered the highest importance from the employees’ viewpoint, whereas delegation of authority was ranked fifth and least important according to them. On a positive note, customers showed satisfaction towards the services offered by the bank’s branches. The study put forth several recommendations based on these findings: enhancing employee authority within the bank, removing unnecessary task performance restrictions for employees, urging management to revamp the incentive system with a more equitable distribution of financial rewards. Additionally, it stressed upon developing strategies aimed at bolstering marketing dimensions of the bank; this includes allocating a substantial budget as well.
