The delivery of social security services is being transformed by technological innovation, which presents new opportunities for fostering inclusivity and equal access. Historically, social security systems were aimed at assisting individuals excluded from formal employment, particularly the elderly. However, modern welfare states are now confronted with what can be described as recent challenges due to significant shifts in the workforce driven by urbanization, globalization, and technological progress. This research will investigate how digital platforms, biometric systems, and automation contribute to achieving inclusive social protection services, particularly for vulnerable groups such as informal workers and economically disadvantaged individuals. Utilizing a qualitative approach that combines descriptive and analytical methods, this chapter will review existing literature, policies, and technological implementations to identify gaps and potential biases that impede full inclusivity. This analysis underscores the urgent need for reforms that adopt a comprehensive perspective, ensuring that advancements in social security services are inclusive, equitable, and accessible to everyone.
