This chapter examines the profound integration of technology with traditional rituals in the digital era, highlighting the intricate relationship between advancements in technology and cultural involvement. It investigates how technological innovations facilitate the enactment of rituals, thus influencing their essence, significance, perception, and reception. Five case studies provide evidence of how rituals are evolving through their incorporation with digital platforms such as social media and other emerging technologies. While technology enhances participation and accessibility, it also introduces challenges, including the commodification and disruption of conventional practices. A qualitative analysis based on pertinent sociological literature is presented to better understand the ethical, cultural, and political implications of digitalizing ritual practices. The research questions contribute to an ongoing discussion within the fields of digital anthropology and digital humanities regarding the preservation, authenticity, and ethical considerations associated with digitally mediated rituals.
