Digital Transformation and its Impact on Sustainable Development: An Analytical Study
摘要
The objective of the study is to investigate how digital transformation influences the attainment of sustainable development from the viewpoint of employees working in telecommunications firms. This transformation was assessed across three dimensions: digital strategy, digital human resources, and digital technology. In terms of sustainable development, the focus is on three key areas: economic, social, and environmental. The research involved a population of 680 employees holding administrative and supervisory roles within telecommunications companies. A descriptive-analytical methodology is employed, utilizing relevant statistical techniques through the SPSS software. Out of 350 distributed questionnaires, 268 responses are collected, forming the sample for the study. Findings indicated that digital transformation positively affects sustainable development across all its dimensions. The degree of implementation for both digital transformation and sustainable development within telecommunications companies is found to be high. The study suggests that telecommunications companies should persist in their digital transformation efforts and continue enhancing these initiatives in accordance with evolving digital demands and necessary tasks, while also maintaining their support for sustainable development.
