This chapter seeks to evaluate the legal frameworks governing e-commerce stores, with a particular emphasis on assessing their effectiveness in safeguarding consumer rights and addressing misleading advertising and illegal business practices. Employing a descriptive-analytical approach, the study outlines and analyzes the relevant laws and regulations in both countries. It scrutinizes legal documents and pertinent judicial rulings to pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses within the current legal structure. The findings reveal several gaps in existing legislation, highlighting the necessity for enhancements to keep up with the swift advancements in e-commerce.
