Coats Disease
摘要
This rare ocular disease is not inherited. It occurs sporadically and is usually not associated with any other systemic pathology. It is a telangiectatic neovascular disease of the retina that generally presents with unilateral involvement in boys under the age of 8. Telangiectatic vessels are usually located in the temporal macula and cause exudative retinal detachment as a result of progressive leakage and exudation.
