Lens Fragment Dislocation into the Vitreous Cavity
摘要
With the advances in surgical instruments and intraocular lenses (IOLs) over the past decade, phacoemulsification has become a refractive procedure with nearly perfect visual outcomes. However, even in the most capable hands, complications involving the posterior segment can occur occasionally. In such cases, it is important to be aware of risk factors, recognize complications early, and intervene appropriately. This chapter discusses the diagnosis and surgical management of lens fragment dislocation into the vitreous, IOL dislocation, and suprachoroidal hemorrhage.
