Conducting a systematic mapping of the available knowledge within an organization is a common challenge in the Knowledge Society. Such an activity is fundamental to optimize Organizational Knowledge Management (OKM), favoring knowledge as a valuable intangible asset in the context of organizations. In this scenario, this article proposes a conceptual model to map the Organizational Knowledge Ecosystem, covering four stages: Storage, Visualization, Analysis, and Action. In the Storage stage, a knowledge base is developed from a framework that maps essential Actors, Resources, and Activities (ARA) in the ecosystem; in Visualization, a knowledge graph is used to represent the relationships between elements; in Analysis, Social Network Analysis (SNA) is used to understand the dynamics and flows of knowledge from the interpretation of connection patterns; and finally, in the Action stage, knowledge management strategies and initiatives are implemented to optimize the use and dissemination of knowledge in the ecosystem. Complexity and richness characterize Knowledge Ecosystems, necessitating a systemic approach for strategic Knowledge Management; future directions include expanding the model beyond organizational boundaries, leveraging digital platforms and big data for insights, and exploring topics such as cultural influences on OKE.
