Multi-hazard Risk Assessment Models in Disaster Management
摘要
Accurate and thorough risk assessment is essential to disaster management in a world where natural and man-made disasters are becoming more frequent. Multi-hazard risk assessment models (MHRAMs) take into account the intricate interactions and cumulative impacts of several threats in addition to assessing individual hazards. The present status of MHRAMs is examined in this paper, which also highlights their main features, working principles, and advantages for preparedness, mitigation, and response to disasters.
