The rapid advancement of technology has ushered in the fourth industrial revolution, prompting significant changes in organizational operations, particularly in the banking sector of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This research delves into the acceptance and adoption of smart technologies among employees within UAE banks. Structural Equation Modelling is used to find out the influence of facilitating conditions like digital literacy, availability of resources, frequency of training and leadership support on UAE banking employees’ adoption of smart technologies. Through a random sampling technique, primary data from 200 participants has been collected using online surveys. The results demonstrate a positive link between digital literacy, availability of resources, leadership support and employees’ acceptance and adoption of smart technologies. These findings can be helpful to the bankers, policymakers and employers of UAE banks to influence their employees’ acceptance level and the adoption of smart technologies and can accordingly make informed strategies to invoice their employees so that digital transformation process through change management. Also, the banks can enhance the adoption level of smart technologies in the employees with ensured support and effective communication.
