This study aims to shed light on al-Muthaqqib al-Abdi’s poem (pre-Islamic poet) according to the psychological approach and the employment of its mechanisms that have proven their efficiency and worth, especially after its adoption as one of the important mechanisms in modern curricula, especially (semiotics of passions), as well as the development of some psychological nodes, which showed their effects on the text, in an attempt to explain and understand the causes and psychological factors that affected the poet and were the reason for his systems for this poem, which is considered one of the best poems in Arabic literature in general and pre-Islamic literature.
