“A Comparative Study of the Response of Palestinian Consumers to Television Advertising and Digital Advertising”: An Analytical Field Study on a Sample of Palestinian Consumer Users of Television and Digital Advertising

The research aims to compare the response of Palestinian consumers to television and digital advertisements by analyzing the impact of various elements such as text, colors, language, and messages on the effectiveness of advertisements. It also aims to measure the spread and impact of advertisements on purchasing behaviors, understand consumer preferences, analyze the effectiveness of advertising messages, and compare the cost of production. The return on investment, studying the effect of repetition and timing of advertisements, and analyzing the psychological and emotional impact on consumers’ behavior and their interaction with digital advertisements compared to television. The research is based on the theory of uses and gratifications and belongs to the field of descriptive-analytical studies, as it relied on the media survey approach to collecting field data and the comparative approach. To analyze the differences in the effectiveness of advertisements, the study included an available sample of (295) Palestinian consumers and analyzed (12) advertisements (6) television and (6) digital during the period from January to June 2023 AD. The researcher used a field survey form to collect and analyze data to understand the impact.
